Memorial Day

The Concord Public Ceremonies and Celebrations Committee (CPCCC) invites all Concord veterans and members of the public to the annual Memorial Day Commemorations, which will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The West Concord Memorial Day Remembrance commemorations will begin at Percy A. Rideout Field at 9:00 AM, proceeding to Kenneth J. Dunn Square. The Concord Independent Battery, Concord Minutemen, Concord Police Honor Guard, and members of the CPCCC will participate, along with Town of Concord veterans.

Commemorations will continue in Concord Center at 11:00 AM, at which time those same participants will proceed to the green on Monument Square and place commemorative wreaths at the various monuments.

The Concord Independent Battery will fire several times throughout the morning.

The CPCCC looks forward to your presence at these important events which commemorate the Concordians who sacrificed their lives in service to our community and our nation.
