All plans offered are Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), sometimes also referred to as Exclusive Provider Organizations (EPOs). To receive benefits, subscribers must use doctors or medical facilities that have contracted with the selected carrier (i.e., Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield). Each plan has a different list of doctors or medical facilities where members can receive care. Two categories of plans are available, representing different benefit structures. Health Savings Account (HSA)
Each employee who enrolls in an HSA-Qualified plan will have access to a Town-provided Health Savings Account (HSA), provided they qualify to make contributions. The Town's HSA Account benefit is administered by Health Equity. Click here for more details.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Flexible Spending Accounts can be used for qualified medical, dental, vision or dependent care expenses. The Town's Flexible Spending Account benefits are administered by Cafeteria Plan Advisors, Inc. Click here for more information.
