The Information Technology department’s main goal is to support the various Concord departments with connectivity, data, computing and insight to relevant technologies for purposes of meeting each department’s objectives.We provide tools that support sharing information with the citizens and community.
The Information Technology Department (IT) manages and deploys technology which enables all employees of the Town Government to perform their jobs. Providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and general purpose application integration is a key function of the IT Department. Concord’s telecommunications network serves the needs of all departments, and supports the utility services provided throughout Concord.
The IT department plans and leads projects help to ensure that common tools used across departments and processes as are as integrated as possible. We manage the server, network and data infrastructure resources. Information Technology participates in the selection, purchase, implementation and management of the Town’s telecommunication systems and infrastructure planning.
