Heat Pump Water Heaters (also called hybrid water heaters) are powered by electricity, but are much more efficient than conventional electric water heaters that exclusively use electric resistance to raise the temperature of the water.
Heat pumps will keep your business warm on the coldest day of winter... and cool and dry on summer’s steamiest afternoon. These clean heating and cooling technologies can greatly reduce your greenhouse gas emissions, reduce your energy costs, and improve indoor comfort.
Rebates are currently available from Mass Save for gas-heating businesses that switch to full or partial heat pump heating. Rebates from CMLP will be available soon for oil and electric heating businesses that switch to heat pumps.
Weatherization
Weatherization rebates are available from Mass Save for Concord businesses that heat with natural gas. CMLP hopes to begin offering weatherization rebates to oil, electric and propane heating businesses in the future.
