June 13, 2023 | 7:00 PM | The Concord Natural Resources Division, together with the Concord Land Conservation Trust and Sudbury Valley Trustees, will hosting a public workshop on design of the future All Persons Trail to be constructed at the Assabet River Bluff conservation land on Tuesday June 13th at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center ( 1276 Main Street ). The Assabet River Bluff conservation land overlooks the Assabet River and abuts the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail at the corner of Upland and Old Marlboro Road. The seven-acre property at 2B Upland Road and 406 Old Marlboro Road was acquired by the Town of Concord in 2022 and divided into a one-acre parcel dedicated to affordable housing and a six-acre parcel of conservation land. The All Persons Trail will be located on the six-acre conservation parcel with the purpose of providing people of all abilities with an opportunity to experience and enjoy nature. We welcome everyone with an interest or would like to share their thoughts, suggestions, and hopes for this trail to attend the workshop and help us make this the best trail possible! |
