Hanscom Air Force Base is anticipating an increase in commuter traffic, as a result of a recent federal policy change. A significant number of base personnel currently teleworking will be required to return to in-person work no later than Thursday, Feb. 6, and all employees will return to work by Monday, Feb. 24. 

This change will increase the number of personnel commuting to-and-from the base during the work week, and likely result in delays and traffic congestion at the Ruiz Gate, located at Hartwell Ave., Lexington, Mass., and the Sartain Gate, located at Hanscom Dr., Lincoln, Mass., during peak commute times.
