Message from the Town Manager
I write regarding the heartbreaking news of the tragic car accident that occurred last evening involving four students from Concord-Carlisle Regional High School. At this time, we are advised that three young lives from the Class of 2025 were lost far too soon, while one other remains hospitalized with serious injuries. This is a profound loss that touches our entire community.
One of the students who passed away was a valued member of our Recreation Department team. We grieve not only the loss of a bright young person with so much promise, but also a colleague whose presence, energy, and spirit enriched the lives of those around them. We hold their family and friends in our thoughts, as well as the families of all the students involved, and we extend our deepest condolences during this time of immense sorrow.
This tragedy reminds us how closely connected we all are—how the pain of one part of our community ripples outward and is felt by us all. In the days ahead, I ask that we continue to look out for one another, offer grace, and allow space for grieving.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
Sincerely,
Kerry A. Lafleur
Town Manager
