Sign Up Today for the Lawnmower “Swap Plus”!!!!
In order to help our community move to a much healthier and quieter way to care for our yards, Concord’s Comprehensive Sustainable Energy Committee (CSEC), is pleased to announce a Lawnmower “Swap Plus” event on September 23rd from 9am to 1pm at Concord Public Works, 133 Keyes Road. The event is held in collaboration with Concord Public Works and Quiet Communities (www.quietcommunities.org), is open to all Concord residents, and will feature demonstrations of cordless (battery-powered) electric lawn care equipment. Up to 100 residents will have the opportunity to trade in their gasoline-powered mowers and receive a significant discount on a new, highly-rated EGO electric mower. We expect strong interest in the lawnmower swap part of this event and Town rebate monies are limited. Therefore online pre-registration (at coolerconcord.org/sustainable-yards/) before August 6th is highly recommended to reserve a mower and a $100 rebate from the Town.
