The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for our area for Tuesday August 28th and Wednesday August 29th where heat index values are expected to be between 95 and 100 degrees with continued high humidity. These conditions may be met with scattered thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and gusty winds on Thursday, August 29th. Please be aware of the signs and symptoms of heat illnesses which come with high heat and humidity.
