The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning/heat advisory for our area for Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 where heat index values are expected to be between 100 to 110 degrees with continued high humidity. Please take precautions to stay safe during this period of high temperatures.
- Stay hydrated by drinking water
- Slow down and avoid strenuous activity
- Do not leave children or animals in hot cars
- Check on your vulnerable neighbors
