Recent increases in dog activity, and conflicts between dogs, wildlife, and other trail users, have prompted the Natural Resources Commission to consider implementing leash restrictions at some of Concord’s conservation lands, including Punkatasset, Monument Farm, Mattison Field, White Pond, and farmlands on conservation land. A public hearing was held on May 11th to discuss possible restrictions.

The Commission will hold three public meetings to discuss public comment received since the May public hearing and determine next steps. The meetings will be held at 141 Keyes Road on: June 29 at 7:00 p.m., July 12 at 7:30 a.m., and July 27 at 7:00 p.m.
