[ARCHIVED] Is Concord an Age-Friendly Community?

Is Concord an Age-Friendly Community???

In 2010, 32% of Concord’s population was over 60 years old and by 2030, the number will rise to 34%.  Concord has joined the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, which encourages communities to take action and pay increased attention to the environmental, economic and social features that encourage greater age integration and diversity and create a community that supports residents from the cradle through retirement.

With assistance from AARP, Concord is developing an Age-Friendly Action Plan to ensure that the Town's services, initiatives and programs continue to align with our resident's evolving needs. This survey is vitally important and needs your input and can be found on-line at www.concordma.gov/Age-Friendly-Survey or on paper at the Town Clerk’s office, Planning Division office or Council On Aging. All responses are due back by November 21, 2018.

If you have questions or need assistance with the survey, please call the Concord Planning Division at 978-318-3290.
