A big thanks to everyone who helped out with the October 18th DropOff - SwapOff! This was a very successful event, with a total of 893 vehicles attending the DropOff portion of the event alone. Below is a summary of the items collected at the DropOff portion of the event. Thanks very much again for all of your help in making this a successful event!

  • 1 5 gal bucket of thermostats and mercury products
  • 1 box of laser toner cartridges
  • 1 container of controlled substances (Collected by PD)
  • 1 truckload of children's items
  • 1 truckload of reusable building materials
  • 1/2 box of cell phones
  • 1/2 box of ink jet cartridges
  • 11 toilets
  • 13 refrigerators
  • 167 boxes of paper were collected for off-site shredding
  • 193 1/2 bags of Styrofoam
  • 2 boxes of 8 foot fluorescent bulbs
  • 2 truck loads and one van load of household goods
  • 25 bags of sneakers for Goodwill
  • 3 5-gallon buckets of rechargeable batteries
  • 3 fire extinguishers
  • 3/4 30 yard roll-off container of carpet
  • 39 microwaves
  • 4 30 yard roll-off containers of scrap metal
  • 4 containers of 4 foot fluorescent bulbs
  • 4,500 pounds of books, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes.
  • 43 dehumidifiers
  • 5 30 gallon boxes of SHARPS
  • 5 30-gallon boxes of unwanted medicine
  • 50 bikes
  • 50 Mattresses
  • 58 air conditioners
  • 70% of a 53 foot truck was filled with electronics
  • 8 30 yard roll-off containers of over size waste and construction and demo materials
  • 8 bins of rags
  • 8 boxes of small and compact fluorescent bulbs
  • 89 propane and helium tanks
