Caregivers' Support

"I care for my husband with dementia. I felt so alone, losing my patience and feeling I was losing my mind. I found this group and I found support, ideas on how to manage some problems, services in the area, and most of all I found I was not alone."

This is one story and one step to finding support for yourself and the one you love. Our Caregivers' Support Group is open to all caregivers, regardless of diagnosis. Caring for a loved one can be very challenging, and sharing experiences with others often helps caregivers cope with difficulties and celebrate successes.

The  group size is limited to 15 participants. Eligible group members include Concord residents who are over age 60 or who are the caregiver for someone who is over age 60. Council on Aging (COA) Social Service Supervisor Nicole Saia guides the group, which meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 PM. Pre-registration is required. Please contact Nicole at nsaia@concordma.gov or call the COA at 978 318 3020.
