Christmas Trees may be brought to the Compost Site on the following days:

Fridays, December 30th and January 6th

9AM-12PM

and

Saturdays, December 31st and January 7th

9AM-4PM

If you miss one of these scheduled events, Christmas Trees may be brought to the Compost Site whenever it is open April through November. Wreaths and garlands can not be recycled because of the wire used to shape them. Please dispose of wreaths and garlands with your regular trash.

Styrofoam block in pre-purchased bags can be dropped off at the Compost Site on the above days as well.  

Pre-pay for the bags online for $10 each and pick them up at the CPW campus at 133 Keyes Road.  

Location Compost Site 755 Walden Street  On Route 126, just across Route 2, on your left  before you reach Walden Pond.
