Article 55 - Beede Swim & Fitness Center Enterprise Fund Expenditures

ARTICLE 55. To determine whether the Town will appropriate the amount required for the total expenses of the Community Pool Enterprise Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 for the operation of the Community Pool, in accordance with Mass. Gen. Laws c. 44, § 53F ½, to be expended under the direction of the Town Manager; or take any other action relative thereto.

Article Explanation

The FY26 budget will be submitted by the Town Manager and reviewed at a public hearing of the Finance Committee on May 1, 2025.

Article Motion

Mr. Griffiths moves to appropriate $2,979,069 in enterprise fund receipts and transfer $1,211,000 from Certified Retained Earnings as of June 30, 2024, for a total appropriation of $4,190,069 for the Community Pool Enterprise Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 for the operation of the Community Pool, in accordance with Mass. Gen. Laws c. 44, §53F ½ to be expended under the direction of the Town Manager.
